Caitlynn moved quickly and she knelt by the girl on the ground. Pulling out a small vial of smelling salts and waved them under her nose. Yes the girl had fainted... a soft chuckle escaped. It was a bit much to take in at once. She watched to see when she would wake up.

Allison smelled something, but she didn't know where it came from. Moments later her eyes fluttered open to reveal Caitlynn hovering over her. A high pitched shriek came form her as she sat up quickly. She pushed herself against the nearest tree, only a few paces away, wondering what Caitlynn was going to do. Her mind felt as if it were on the edge of a cliff, teetering over the dizzying height.

Caitlynn frowned and shook her head. "Think girl." she said her voice softening a bit. She really hadnt ment to scare her. "If I had wanted to harm you it would have already happened and normally people do not see me when its done." she eyed her willing her to see the reality of the situation. "I am offering you an alliance of sorts." she told her making no threatening moves. "You are now very safe ..much safer then you were before." she winked at her and smiled mysteriously. "If you find that you cannot touch your family's killer you might find that he disappears." she hinted trying to get her to see the benifits of an alliance. "Things have now become possible." she backed up a bit giving the girl room.

Allison stayed against the tree for a few minutes before crawling forward in the grass. "Are you alone?" she asked her simply. She knew there were others like her in the city. Some had alliances, but she didn't know if this woman did or not. Still, she was a bit grateful for the protection and crawled to her.

Caitlynn nodded. "For the moment." she told her. "But," she said as she watched her crawl forward to her. "It helps to have an alliance or two to smooth certian things over." Caitlynn sat back down under the tree she was under. "I can even teach you a thing or two to defend yourself." she hinted again.

Allison sat down across from Caitlynn. "Who?" she asked her. "Do you have a picture for me?" When she mentioned being able to teach her things, Allison was uncertain at first. "You mean... like an apprentice?" she asked her, a bit confused on her hidden meaning. Did she want to do something like that for a living? Would she be able to? After all, Allison could be clumsy at times, and she definitely couldn't swim so if she ended up in water she'd be dead.

Caitlynn nodded. "You may not want to do what I do." she said thoughtfully. "But you could defend yourself easily enough if I was not there to help." taking her dagger out she played with it a bit thoughtfully twirling it in her fingers. "I am not really all that well known here on the island though there have been a few who have come in contact with me." She dropped off not going further in that vein. "So, until I get a little more well known you will need more protection than my name to keep you safe and it wont be safe for you to tag around with me constantly either." Caitlynn's mind buzzed with the need to keep her new charge safe. She produced a card from her pocket having the address of one of the most expensive hotels on the island. "If you go here this evening when you are ready to sleep you will find a room waiting for you and a tab for your meals." she instructed her as she handed her the card. "If you need anything else leave a note for me at the desk I will get it."

Allison listened intently as she spoke. When she held a card out for her she took it and looked at it first, before tucking it away in the back pocket of her jeans. "You never answered my question," she said to her. Wondering what she did, she questioned about it, returning to her earlier seat under the tree as well.

Caitlynn looked at her and quirked an eyebrow when she outright asked her what she did. A soft but evil smile formed and she chuckled. Shifting the dagger in her hand expertly she spotted a grasshopper on a nearby tree. Sending the dagger wizzing quickly toward the bug she impaled it with the knife killing it with deadly accuracy. "That is what I do." she told the girl. "My services are sold to the highest bidder and I have millions in swiss bank accounts because of it." she grimaced a bit. "Though inaccessable at this time. I must start over." she shrugged. She had accepted the fact that she would never have a family, never allow anyone to know that people were close to her. It was dangerous. This girl would be her weakness and she had to protect that weakness. "You are the one person on this island who has nothing to fear from me. I see a bit of myself in you."

Allison nodded slowly. "And you're saying that if I train I could be like that too?" she asked quietly. Looking at Caitlynn she recalled something she had said earlier. "You said you were momentarily working with someone. Who is it?" she asked her, curiosity making itself known now.
((Bleh... sorry... my muse has now completely left me to dry))
