Caitlynn stood across the street from a stately mannor house. Her dark, skilled eyes trained on the place. She had been told that this house belonged to one of the more powerful men on the island and if she wanted work that she would somehow have to gain his trust. She also knew that you didnt gain trust very easily. Mostly you had to earn it and sometimes that required a show of skill or even an amount of your blood. It was brutal but that was the way it was in her line of work. She pulled the brim of the hat she was wearing down over her eyes and the white trench coat blew in the breeze showing off a shapely figure dressed in tight white clothes. This was no game..
Eying the mannor she saw several security measures she would have to deal with. Her quick, sharp mind made notes of everything she saw. This was going to be a challenge.. hell it might even be fun.

His eyes half closed staring at the sight before him. A woman was standing right outside a familar house looking. She appeared to be dressed in white and David could almost tell what she was doing. It was his job to make mental notes of every house, it's security, it's doors, the ways in and out of it. And if he wasn't mistaken this girl was doing exactly the same thing. Or maybe it could be his eyes that were illusinating ever since he got out of prison.
Determined, David walked toward the lady. He was wearing some casual clother having left from his house for some walking around and he wanted to blend into the crowd. Things had changed a lot and he needed to keep in mind of everything if he wanted to acheive his goals. With steady steps he walked near the woman and stopped not far away from her. He placed his hands into the pockets of his jeans while his green shirt was being blown by a slight breeze.
"Nice house. You know who lives here?" David asked randomly but he was refering to the woman. There was no one else around and unless she was too occupied with her own thought she wouldn't reply.

She had seen him approaching her so she didnt even flinch when he spoke. Keeping her dark eyes trained on the house infront of her she responded to his question. "Yes I do.." she said softly her voice was firm and almost dark in its tone. Her body moved slightly adjusting her stance to one of readiness but concealingly so. To the normal eye she would look comfortable and relaxed .. not ready for anything... but... to the skilled eye .. they would know that she could spring at any moment and slit your throat if she felt like it.
Taking her eyes of the house for just the barest of seconds and eying the man beside her. "The house belongs to David Dalton." she said in a lethal voice... hard yet soft it was not to be mistaken. "Actually... You.." she told him. She had infact done her homework. A couple of people had died for the information she had recieved but for her survival it was necessary.

After two years gone in the prison ((see bio)) David would never thought that he was still known. He was hoping his face would be forgotten as well as his name as time passed and he would be able to do whatever he liked without anyone knowing it was actually the man who once closed down half of the factories of the city causing it to fall into a deep slowdown. But this girl here had done made her homework. She knew whom the house belonged to and she knew who he was. A pro, a master that should be treated very carefully. People like her shouldn't be left on their own as they could cause much more damage than one could even imagine.
"So you know..." he said to her in a low voice yet not one that would show his emotions. He wasn't intimitated by her and he wasn't afraid. He stared into her eyes while preparing himself for anything. He took his hands out of his pockets and placed one on his back. A small knife was attached there waiting for anytime it would come in handy. "We need to talk then!" he said to her his vioce becoming cold.

A low feminine chuckle escaped her. She wasnt one to be intimidated by anyone not even one of the most powerful men on the island. Shifting Caitlynn rested her hand on her hip right over the concealing spot of one of her daggers. It wasnt very big but it could do the job easily enough. Her eyes narrowed as her stance became one of visible readiness. "Is it talk or fight?" she asked quietly, her voice dangerous... a soft hiss. This was normal posturing between equals and she wasnt in the least intimidated. "If you wish to talk indicate the way and I will follow you." she said her eyes trained on him. "If its a fight you wish.. then lets get to it."

The man stared blanckly into her eyes. She was indeed a pro and knew what she was doing. David smirked at her words. Who did she think she was going on a fight against him? She seemed strong enough but no one was yet so powerful as to outdone his training and abilities. "I don't think we have anything to talk about." Taking out his knife he kept his hand behind his back not making it visible to her. It should be needed any time know and though small, he knew exactly how well to use it.
"Unless I am mistaken of course. Maybe you do have a motive to talk to be but I'll bet that you've been sent here to finish the job Cortez never managed to do." David was almost sure that she had been paid to kill him but even though he wasn't sure, he didn't let his guard down.

A slight smirk crossed her features. Her body was still at the ready. "Are you suggesting an employer?" she asked softly; her voice a deadly menace. "Because from the information I gathered from a few people they said you were the best one to work for." She never made a threatening move but the readiness was very visible in her body and tone of voice. "Not this 'Cortez' you speak of. From what a slime ball by the name of Jake told me Cortez skrews most of hits over.. " she trailed off her dark eyes hard. "If I had been paid to kill you Dalton.." she told him coldly. "You would not have seen me till the life seeped from your body." Her eyes were cold as death as she spoke and no emotion seeped into her voice. It was the voice of a trained killer.

Dalton chuckled as he listened to the woman while his free hand moved up to touch his chin. He thought for a second before placing the small knife he had back into his clothes and brining the hand in frond of him again. "Is that so? Is that what people say? I am a good employer?" Dalton went quiet for a moment thinking seriously what the woman had said when he realised she knew more about him that he did for her.
He made up his mind at the next words she said. If she was able to talk like that and threaten him then she must have been good at her job too. No one could be so sure until they tried it many times and she definately neither flinch nor trembled. Fit, probably trained, smart and clever...maybe this is exactly what I need.. Dalton stared into her eyes this time trying to sound powerful.
"We should definately talk then. But not here. Even the trees can listen." Taking a few steps away while his pupils moved back to make sure she wouldn't attack; he still didn't trust her, Dalton stopped in the middle of the street. "Shall we?" he asked her pointing at his house.

Caitlynn nodded and finally moved to follow him. Her small hand moved from the concealed dagger at her hip. A soft breeze blew her hair as she moved toward him, her movements resembling that of a cat. Her dark eyes very intent on him. Knowing he didnt trust her she kept her hands in plain site. They didnt need any mistakes at this point.

Dalton kept walking until he reached the entrance to the house gardens. With a uick typing hand, he entered the code for the security system to unlock while at the same time he took a key out of his pocket and turned it a few times. Turning around he looked at the woman to make sure she was not looking or at least didn't understand what he did. He was very picky with security as a grand theif and killer wouldn't simply allow anyone to get into his house.
"We need to wait a few moments." he told her, his voice still sounded cold. Once the door opened, Dalton pushed it open and and nodded for the woman to walk inside just as the frond door of his house was opening electrically.

Caitlynn smirked a little watching the measures he had taken with his house. Her former boss had the same set up. She knew how to break it if she wanted... not that she wanted to at this point in time. There really was no need. She had actually passed her last test on a system like this because it was one of the hardest to get past. Her mentor had locked her out on the streets with no money and told her that to be accepted back she had to get into the house... this was at age 12. She had managed it quite nicely.
Caitlynn waited patiently. Patience was something she had learned early in life. It was taught to her very cruelly at first until she could wait for house in any condition perfectly still and she was like that still today. When he nodded she entered the grounds careful to stay close to him. She had not even begun really to case the place to find out all the little tricks he had installed. Of course she would know them later. Still keeping her hands well in sight she followed him to his home.

Dalton could see the woman staying close to him as they walked and he could tell by her movement and features that she was well trained and knew what she was doing. The woman might be really useful to work for him and he had already started making up his mind but of course they first needed to talk.
Once inside the house, Dlaton lead her to a large room and nodded to her to seat on one of the sofas. This was the room where he made his meetings and there were a few paintings on the walls as well as some antics on a nearby desk. "Please have a sit." he said to her and moved up to a shelf on which there were some drinks. "Anything to drink while we talk?" he asked her as he searched for a couple of glasses.

Caitlynn followed him into the room, dark eyes searching everyone making notes in her head. Of course this was habit and not one easily broken. When they entered the room a quick glance told her everything she needed to know. The positions of the valuables in the room as well as entrances and exits. She also made first impressions on appraisals of everything as well. This was not deleberate but reflex.. a thief's training.
Sitting on one particularly large stuffed sofa in a corner, she made sure her back was to a wall and not the door.... a killer's reflex. It gave her room to manuver out of a dangerous situation. When he offered her a drink, many things went through her head. It was the beginnings of a trust relationship with the both of them. If she refused she showed that she was not willing to make the advances on trust. "Whatever is easiest." she told him not wanting to have a break in trust this early in the game. Out of her pocket she took what looked like a piece of candy and plopped it into her mouth. Black market stuff that was... she had aquired it off a dead dealer.... something to make sure that if she was drugged in any way it went right through her system in the least amount of time. Dirty lil thing but needed in this case. Caitlynn watched him closely as he looked for glasses and waited.

Dalton picked up two glasses in one hand from the table and poured inside some wine he had found in frond of him. He definately didn't want either of them to get drunk and he left it to the middle of the glass. Smirking, he walked over to the woman and handed her the glass before taking a seat exactly opposite her. He crossed his legs and looked across the room at the black haired lady in white.
All this time she seemed to be examining his house and ideas started to arouse into his mind. She could be a theif who like every other wanted to steal the riches of this house. Or she may have been planning to attack him and seeking ways to get out. There was only one way to find out.
"So, what kind of job do you want and what are you capable of doing, Mrs....."

A soft knowing smile crossed her lips. She knew she was very well known; cops were out to pin her for numerous things. They just never could get anything solid on her. She was that good. "Miss. Arie.." she said softly dropping her name. "Caitlynn Arie.." a smirk crossed her features. "In the underground im called Shadow Wolf." Caitlynn dropped the last knowing if he was as well connected as she thought he may be, he'd know her reputation. "As for what I am capable of .. " she trailed of leaving it hanging for a moment. "You are welcome to put me to the test. I can do anything you need me to do without a trace." she gave him a saucy wink. "So the question is what do YOU want Mr. Dalton?"
